First Power places great importance on being an active part of the local communities in which we operate. We work proactively with local leaders, environmental organizations, and entities to identify and address their concerns, as well as expand the benefits from our projects beyond the physical project confines. We recognize the impact our projects have on the local environment and our goal is to be a contributing member of the community for the duration of the project.

Our global utility-scale energy delivery projects benefit the communities they serve significantly in direct and economic investments, tax revenues and job creation. Our projects create new jobs and also strongly encourage our contractors to hire qualified local subcontractors and suppliers whenever possible.

Our presence also brings significant indirect economic benefits to the community , and region served through increased revenues for local service industries and the purchase of goods and services during construction and operation.

First Power takes pride in supporting the local community by contributing to institutions and universities by facilitating job training opportunities, including youth organizations, veteran’s services and more. We understand the level of trust and integrity required to achieve harmonious existance as corporate citizens within an established community, and we are committed to the good stewardship of the environment throughout the duration of the project.
